Jerricho Lee

Hello, my name is Dominique Henderson; I interviewed an upcoming artist by the name of Jericho Lee. Jericho is very determined about his life and his future. On top of that, the interview was very inspirational.

      

     

 

 

Jericho Lee is on his way to top, especially being mentored by Rico the Champ who inspired him to write. His favorite quote is “All work pays off”. Also, he is a versatile rapper, which raps about clubs, ladies, and other rap songs. Jericho ’s main goal is to graduate from high school and attend college and hopefully play football. If he could meet anybody it would be Ray Lewis, or if he could go back in time he would meet Martin Luther King Jr. At last, he comments,  “after FAMU Upward Bound he would like to pursue his career in making good hits.”

Hello my name is Dominique Henderson and I have been in Upward Bound for two years. I was influence by Kevin James and Mike Morgan. I (Dominique) is in T.C. (Thick Crew) and we are trying to get music producer to record us in the studio. YES!!! I like all my experience with Upward Bound. I started Upward Bound when I was fifteen or sixteen years old. I am a senior. I learn that I can promote my own business. I have my own business (Mz. Brat Ent. Modeling/Artist Company). I will miss my experience that I had with Upward Bound. I want to be remembered as a seventeen year old young lady who started my own modeling/artist company.

 

 

 

Keith Kennedy

Keith Kennedy is the Co-founder of TJ’s DJ’s. Keith say he does think that teens are influenced by today’s music. He also said it depends on how they take it because a influence is an influence. TJ’s DJ’s offers internships and a four day conference every year. They do not promote people like Beyonce. They go for people like J Love to make them become big. Keith favorite artist that he worked with is Plies. Keith does not like  the rockstar ion unless it is on a women. He just think that you should wear jeans and a t-shirt because the clothes don’t make who you are. He started this business in TJ’s DJ’s internship. The up coming project that they are working on is the Bobby Ray project. Keith is now recording a book called Money Making Manual In the Upward Bound Studio located on FAMU Campus. As of now, he is waiting on the release of his book and the upcoming Ozone Award. He said it was good last year until Mike Jones got into a fight.

 

Amanda Riggins

My name is Dominique Henderson aka Lady Insider, Today I interviewed Amanda Riggins, she speaks with power, wisdom, and knowledge. I believe she is very motivated by others, and is willing to try to work hard to get any job done.

 

Omg! We went from a rap artist to an upcoming female promoter. Amanda is working hard to get rappers in the studio noticed, by sending friend requests on MySpace, Face book, and Twitter. In addition, she comments Mix a producer in Upward Bound studio inspired her to promote new artist. Ms.Riggins main goal right now is to graduate from high school as an outstanding student. However, her main supporters is her family, Dominique [Lady Insider], Glenn Jr. [producer in UB studio], and Mix [producer in UB studio]. She is also apart of a new rap female group called Tc [thick crew]. Amanda would like to be remembered as a nice young loving person who gives back to her community.

 

 

 

 

Kyle Washington suprise visit

My name is Dominique Henderson, Today I interviewed Kyle Washington from B.E.T  College Hill. Kyle has an incredible presence, he speaks as if he already knows you. Kyle has made my day as of June 16, 2009. This was an experience I will never forget at all.

 

Kyle felt good about being on the fourth episode of College Hill, when he found out he was going to be one of the cast member’s he said ‘’Thank you God’’ and finally I have a chance to get myself out there. Mr. Washington was born and raised in Tallahassee , Fl. We also look forward to seeing him as a Rockefeller Mc host and going on high school tours. However, he choose Famu College , because his whole family attended and graduated from Famu. Also, his advice to Famu Upward Bound would be to enjoy the experience.

 

 

 

 

Glen Jr.

Hello, my name is Dominique Henderson; I did an interview on Glenn Jr. who works with young people in the Upward Bound Studio. Glen Jr’s atmosphere is off- the wall, he is very humorous. Also, I believe he will make an incredible producer one day.

 

 Glen fell in love with music at a very young age, what made it even better was when he started writing lyrics down. Music has impacted his life tremendously, it made him into a better business man, and given him more opportunities in the music industry. Also, he looks up to all famous workers, because of there hard work, progress, and determination to be the best. However, his main supporters are God, Dr. Seay, Dean Hawkins, Mix, and Lmichelle. At, last when you see Glenn Jr. anywhere remember say Boom Boom !!!

Brandi Massey

Hello, my name is Dominique Henderson, Great News!! 

I just had a interview with Brandi Massey, Famu Upward Bound’s next upcoming female artist. 

Brandi inspires me, because she sings with her heart and soul. I believe she has awesome talent, and she will make it big in the long run. 

While Brandi is in the studio she writes songs, record music, and network with people about her music.

Ms. Massey says singing makes her happy.

However, her role model is her big sister and her favorite artist is Keyshia Cole.

Also, Famu Upward Bound Studio has inspired her to write more of her own music.

Mainly, her goals right now are to graduate from high school and retire by 30 if she succeeds in the  music business.
